A B O U T
Him, His Violin, The Brand & The Story...
Hey, Welcome to
N I M A Creates!
My name is Nima.
A good way to remember my name is in fact 'Nemo'...I know you were totally thinking of that.

I'm a young man from Melbourne who has led an adventurous life in music! I feel very deeply and pour it all out through my Violin, and only my Violin.
Currently rumour has it that I can play the Violin using only my eyebrows and I can confirm this is true. You should let me show you...

The Artist.
I have an incredible passion for pure emotion & expression - once you see me perform you will feel how my heart sets on fire, burning through every note to breathe life into the music, this is one of my superpowers. I live every single note, every bow stroke and every vibrato so deeply as if the melodies are piercing out of my body and entering everyone's spirits. I want to share this ethereal experience with my audience. Truthfully, the secret is magic is real, and I know I can bring it to you.
Education & Experience.

I'm a violinist of 18 years and I've had an education that spans over two distinct styles of violin playing. During the first 7 years of my journey as a young musician I learnt exclusively Persian music and won the first prize in the major State Music Competition at the age of 5! What you should know about Persian music is its predominantly focused on improvisation! This can be daunting for a lot of musicians because you literally have to 'create the music' as you go with no sense of where this can end up. However this exposed me to a big treasure chest of valuable skills; pressure management, on-the-spot creativity of the best quality and flexibility. Of course now this is also accompanied by a deep understanding of how middle eastern music works along with all it's intricate details.

Over the past 11 years, after migration to Australia I've strictly focused on Classical Music as a solo violinist, completing milestone Australian Music Examination Board (AMEB) levels with High Distinction and experiencing a drastic improvement in my playing which was felt not just by myself but others in the industry also. The increase in attention & praise by the public was followed by being appointed as associate concertmaster of Melbourne Youth Orchestra for 2 years in a row, appearances with the famous Melbourne Symphony Orchestra in grand venues such as Hamer Hall & Sidney Myer Music Bowl and receiving a scholarship to study with one of the best violin teachers/mentors in the country; William Hennessy AM. After my 4 years of studying with Mr. Hennessy I would never be the same. He transformed my life and my playing in ways I didn't know to be possible. I was granted access to materials taught by the best music schools in the world, including the Australian National Academy of Music (ANAM).
I decided a career in orchestral music and outdated classical traditions is not for me, I wanted NEW! I yearned for more, I yearned for innovation, genuine creativity & vision. All of which is lacking in the classical music industry I believe. I felt and still feel so strongly about this that when offers came from the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music & Australian Youth Orchestra to take part in their programs, I had to politely decline. Ever since 2022, I've built my own professional recording studio, learnt music production and music distribution to streaming platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music etc. and started releasing my own tracks! Me and my team together have also created breathtaking music videos for these tracks and experimented with some epic ideas! - checkout Media. Throughout this experimentation phase of my career I have also assembled orchestras for & toured Australia with famous Persian artists such as Sahar, Alireza Ghorbani & Aref Arefkia, performing in the famous Sydney Opera House.
Right now, after 18 years of education and experience in all the different realms of music, I finally have something valuable to offer you. I have finally come to terms that my most real passion is the show! It's the performance, it's how I can impact you, how I can inspire you, what I can show you & how I can make you feel! The audience is what I care for the most. Whether it's your wedding, proposal, engagement, anniversary or any other event, it doesn't matter, I can create this show for you. Hence why I named my business N I M A Creates. I was born to create, it's what I do and what I'll continue to do forever.

What I deliver.
Your Unique Experience
Is What Makes Me Different
In our modern days, connection to music is there, but not deep enough! In my opinion people don't fully get to experience the meaningful, profound and passionate roller coaster melodies can take us on. This is a problem.

When was the last time you connected with a melody or a piece of music that took you to another world, gave you goosebumps, you lost yourself, cried, smiled, laughed in uncontrollable joy all because of a visceral connection...perhaps it reminded you of something? It doesn't happen enough...yet it can.

I derive so much pleasure and joy from this kind of connection that I want to share it with you. Imagine; you’re lying on a body of crystal clear water, relaxed, control free and completely weightless. I can take you here with my performance, with music! Oh and the songs! You choose what you like, I'll arrange it for you, no limitations.

Funny Story
To lighten the mood, enough seriousness!

I am a little embarrassed about this...
So I'm in year 7 (high school) and it is one of our gala nights. All school bands and orchestras are performing... At this point as a music captain I'm backstage helping with organising stuff and waiting till I go on to perform at the end of the night, but as that was far away I thought...you know...to enjoy myself a little. There was plenty of music around and I was a particularly curious and passionate child. Through a gap between the backstage curtains I caught the orchestra performing one of my favourite tunes. So I did what any normal human would, without realising everyone could see me through the gap.......I started dancing uncontrollably in variations of the monkey imitation style. The audience seemed to enjoy it. Turns out our music director was actually conducting the orchestra and she caught a glimpse of all this good stuff. She didn't think much good stuff of it though and to this day I have never experienced someone shouting at me so loud up in my face... However overall it was a good year still.
