A Fairytale Dream With It's Plot Twists; Working With Mr. Hesam Naseri & Brett Kelly
"I remember being under pressure a lot during this time period. I was the main crucial bridge of communication and at times things got difficult. However I remember knowing the one thing I can't do is cut corners and collapse under this pressure, so I held on and it taught me lessons of a lifetime."
More than 3 months before the grand tour of Alireza Ghorbani in Australia, a collaboration formed in early November between N I M A and maestro Alireza Ghorbani's artistic director; Mr. Hesam Naseri. Due to the previous establishment of N I M A within the Persian community as a rising artist and his known links to the classical music industry of the western world in Australia, he was chosen as a key member in sourcing and forming a professionally tailored music ensemble consisting of strings, woodwind & brass instruments. Of course maestro Alireza Ghorbani being one of the greatest Persian artists of all time meant N I M A's team was tasked with sourcing world class level musicians; some of the country's best! These musicians would then go on to tour in January.

Seeing just how challenging this would be, N I M A sourced help from no one better suited to the position; maestro Brett Kelly - whom he had known from years of being co-principle of Melbourne Youth Orchestra (MYO) which was being led by Mr. Kelly as artistic director & chief conductor at the time. Together with the help of each other; Maestro Brett Kelly sourcing the right musicians & N I M A ensuring fast & effective communications of procedures/requirements from Hesam Naseri & back, this project was completed successfully.

"It's true, there were many trials and tribulations throughout these three months, periods of dangerous uncertainty, periods of draining urgency & multiple unexpected 11 pm calls but I would not trade the experience with anything else" are N I M A's words regarding working on this project. The collaboration had it all and it finally ended with a grand 'bang' with the success of the last concert in Perth!
