N I M A Unveils Dramatic Fusion of Music and Film with A Haunting Performance
"This is one of the biggest projects I've worked on. The music video is really just the tip of the iceberg. It's what people see. What they don't see is the hours of research, analysis & preparation that went into this. I genuinely wanted to create a great quality work, something that has a backbone"
Violinist N I M A has released his second music video with a profoundly dramatic and immersive performance of the iconic "Theme from Schindler's List" by John Williams. This project is a striking fusion of music and film, crafted with meticulous attention to honour the haunting melody and the profound tragedy depicted in Steven Spielberg’s 1993 epic historical drama. N I M A's rendition transcends the conventional music video format, creating a powerful connection between Williams' score and Spielberg’s cinematic vision.

To bring this ambitious project to life, N I M A and his team engaged in numerous meetings and creative discussions, carefully analyzing the film to select and highlight its most impactful scenes. This collaborative effort included inspecting various cemeteries to find the most fitting location, ensuring that the chosen site would effectively complement the emotional depth of the music. Additionally, N I M A wrote the detailed script that guided director Luc Trinder, facilitating a smooth shooting process and ensuring that every visual element aligned with the project’s vision.
The cemetery chosen for the shoot adds a profound layer of symbolism, representing the thousands of lives lost in the Holocaust. The depth of research into the film’s themes is powerfully reflected in the acting scenes toward the end (starring Rouhollah Sharifi), where the emotional gravity of the performance is poignantly captured. This somber setting and nuanced acting amplify the connection between the viewer and the film’s tragic history, as N I M A’s performance masterfully bridges the worlds of film, acting, and music. Through this evocative fusion, he offers a fresh perspective on one of cinema’s most profound scores.
